Mohammed has over 15years experience in Human Rights work, NGO management and implementation of capacity building and advocacy campaigns at national, regional and international levels. He holds an MBA, BBA, PGD (Legal studies), Advanced Dip (Political Ideologies), Advanced Dip (Training of Trainers), Dip (Political Philosophy), Dip (International Environmental Law and Governance), Dip (International Legal Framework on Freshwater Resources), Dip (Research Skills), Higher Diploma in Accountancy, and Dip (Project Management). He is variously certified in International Human Rights Law, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law and Constitutional Law. He is an Alumni of Auschwitz Institute of Peace and Reconciliation (Raphael Lemkin Global Seminar on Prevention of Genocide); and co-winner of the European Union Human Rights Award (2014) in Uganda.

She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations & Diplomacy; and Bachelors
Degree in social sciences. She has over 10 years of experience working with the NGO sector, experienced in designing, monitoring and evaluating programmes in fragile environments; knowledgeable in programmes of accountability to affected people (AAP); Security Sector Governance and Reform; Human Rights and rule of law ; Gender inclusivity in peace building and organizational systems management. She is currently the Director of Programme at JAP

Timothy Namitego is lawyer by profession and an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. He is a passionate human rights advocate, and an influential activist with over three years of experience in championing for human rights and rule of law in Uganda and East Africa at large. He is an exceptional writer, a brilliant researcher, and an excellent communicator with exceptional leadership skills. He is currently the Project Officer of the Security Sector Civilian Oversight Project under the rule of law and Human Rights Programme of JAP.

Gerald holds a Bachelors Degree of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University. He has 5 years’ experience in grants management, financial accounting & management, and compliance management in the NGO sector. He is currently the Accountant at Justice Access Point (JAP).

Sarah is pursuing a degree in social works & administration. She holds a Diploma social works & administration. She has 2 years’ experience in Office and administrative management with the National and NGO sectors. She is currently the Administrative Assistant of JAP.
