Professor Wilson Mande Muyinda


Professor Wilson Muyinda Mande is the former Vice Chancellor of Nkumba University. He holds a PhD in Leadership and Ethics (Aberdeen ,UK) , Master of Arts in Education  (Virginia ,USA),Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies (ATIEA ,EA). He has served on several boards of not for profit making organization including World Vision Uganda. 

Mr. Onyango Owor

Vice chairperson

He is an advocate of the High Court of the Republic of Uganda, He holds LLM in International Chinese Business law, LLB (Hons), and Post Graduate Diloma in Legal Practice. He has vast experience in International criminal Justice and has previously served as the National Coordinator for the International Criminal Court. He is a reknown Ugandan lawyer and The Manageing Partner of Onyango and company Advocates law firm. His interests include: human rights, public interest litigation and International criminal law.

Mrs. Nsobya Haumba Catherine


She is a Professional accountant with 16 years of relevant Experience. Over 7 years’ experience in Project planning and Management and 16 years in Telecommunications. She is undertaking an for MBA at University of People UK and holds a  Bachelor of Business Administration.

Mr.Kasiira Haluuna Baghereka

Board secretary

He is a professional Teacher and an Expert in community theatre. He is an experienced mass communicator and human rights activist. He is experienced in management and teaching skills at all levels.

Mr. Moses Matovu

Board Member

He is an experienced community development worker who has worked with in the NGO sector for 10years with particular focus on young people faced with difficult circumstances/. He is currently the Executive Director of HUYSLINCI. His area of expertise is in development studies and operational management.

Ms. Nakabanda Elizabeth

Board Member

She holds an MBA in management, BBA in marketing with research interest in Non Profit communications, social marketing, resource mobilization and relief logistics in post conflict affected communities.

Mr. Mohammed Ndifuna

Executive Director

Mr. Mohammed Ndifuna has over 15years experience in Human Rights work, NGO management and implementation of capacity building and advocacy campaigns at national, regional and international levels. He holds an MBA, BBA, HDA, PGD (Legal studies) and several certificates in Human Rights, rule of Law, Peace building & Atrocity Prevention. He is an alumni of Auschwitz Institute of Peace and Reconciliation (Raphael Lemkin Global Seminar on Prevention of Genocide). He is the co-winner of European Union Human Rights Award (2014) in Uganda. He represented HURINET-U on the Steering Committee of CICC (2007- 2018); the Advisory Board of the Human Rights House Network in Oslo (2007 – 2012); and Chairperson of the Independent Development Fund (2008-2017); and the National coalition of Human Rights Defender in Uganda (2013-2018). He served as the Executive Director of HURINET-U (2006-2018). He is a member of the Management Committee of the Uganda National Committee on Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities
